“Inviting someone into your life to help plan and organize something as intimate and daunting as a wedding poses a risk; this is ten-fold when you are an interracial gay couple! Right away, we felt at ease with Erica. It was obvious that this was not just a job to her, but her passion, and what a pleasure to work with someone who truly loves what they do. Moreover, we could tell she really cared about our experience and understood how important this was to us. And the first time I met her she pulled out a binder and I thought, “Okay! She’s got our back AND she is already more organized than I will ever be!” She was consistent, professional, and engaged with us throughout the entire process in such a friendly and fun way that it was hard to say goodbye to our meetings and discussions. On the actual day, she made a hectic experience as seamless and effortless as possible. It was a well oiled machine; all of our guests were impressed by how seamless and effortless our wedding felt. The best part was, my partner and I were completely free to enjoy our special day together without the burden of details because everything was taken care of down to the smallest details. She even made sure to create a special moment for us to be alone (and eat something) right after our ceremony so we could just be present with one another and ease into the rest of the evening. “Her organization and attention to detail and ability to coordinate literally EVERYTHING was unparalleled. She quite literally sewed me into my dress on the fly and even required multiple band aids after the fact because of the thick fabric of my dress. I honestly don't know how we would have pulled off our wedding without her. She handled all vendor communications the last week and made all the timelines so everyone knew where to be, it was seamless and I was so relaxed and carefree the day of the wedding. All family members and friends were free to relax and actually enjoy themselves because Erica was handling everything. If you are on the fence about a day of coordinator and are thinking you'll just be the point of contact yourself or a friend or family member, don't. “Erica was amazing during our wedding. We had only contacted her during the last few months of the process and she jumped in without hesitation. We used her as a day of coordinator and she truly had an impressive handle on the happenings during the day of. All of our vendors were contacted by her to make sure they were in the right place at the right time. She ensured that we had a moment of peace after the ceremony to debrief with just each other. During the clean up she was phenomenal. “I put this review off because I know my words would not do the incredible work that Erica does justice. I had phone consultations with multiple day-of-wedding coordinators. None of them came close to Erica’s thoughtfulness, inquiry, and detail in the hour-long consult call. It was a no brainer that we’d choose her. From the start, Erica was incredibly accommodating and flexible. She worked with us to create a package that fit our specific needs. Erica is SO much more than a day-of-coordinator (if this is the service that you choose from her). I cannot stress this enough. She was not just there for the “one” day. She created timelines (for all vendors, family members, and bridal party). She took over all vendor communication weeks before the wedding. She asked the questions that I would have never thought to ever ask. We had weekly hour-long calls for the month leading up to the wedding. And two in-person meetings so that she could get to know us. Erica always made herself available to answer any questions or help outside of these calls. I tried not to abuse this, because she was so willing to give us her time and help, always. We had some pretty big challenges with our venue right before the wedding, and Erica went above and beyond her duties to take over the communication and to take the stress away from us. I am sure it was more than she bargained for, but she handled everything with so much grace and ease, and a calmness that I so needed in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Once the wedding weekend arrived, it went so incredibly smoothly because of Erica’s work. Or maybe it didn’t? If not, there’s no way she would have let us know on the day of the wedding. As Erica put it, “you should be the guests of honor at your wedding, and not the hosts” which is exactly how we felt. It turned out to be the best day (and weekend) of our lives, and I am so certain that it would not have been if we had not met and chosen to work with Erica. I cannot sing her praises enough. She was an absolute joy to work with, and our planning process would not have been as orderly, perfectly timed and scheduled, or stress-free(ish) if we had not had Erica.” - Ellen and Colin

If I could yell it from every rooftop in the cities, I would! Erica made the planning process exponentially easier and helped bring sanity back into my life. She was incredible to work with, from her unwavering patience, calm demeanor, impeccable organization and follow through, to just being an amazing person overall. She made this wedding planning experience exactly what it SHOULD be, which is fun and joyful. All this was before the wedding even happened. On the day of the wedding, I can honestly say I could not imagine having our wedding happen without Erica involved. She was there for all the set up, ensuring the vendors were on time, managing a difficult situation of a brunch wedding occurring right before ours in the same space---really being our fairy godmother of weddings! She made it easy for me, my husband, our families, bridal party and guests to relax and enjoy the day and all the hard work that went into it.
